When does the CS2 drop reset
The weekly drop resets every Wednesday at 01:00 UTC (04:00 Moscow time). At that moment your weekly reward limit is cleared and you can earn free items again. The schedule is tied to Steam's weekly reset and does not shift with daylight saving time. A couple of hours before the reset Steam usually runs maintenance, so signing in and connecting to matches can be unstable.
What is the weekly drop
Once a week CS2 lets you claim free items just for playing. As you earn XP your profile level goes up, and each level-up lets you pick a reward - most often a weapon case or graffiti, and more rarely a weapon skin. The amount of bonus XP and the number of rewards available are capped per week and reset on the schedule above.
How to get the drop
XP that counts toward the weekly drop is earned only on official Valve servers - the modes from the in-game menu: Premier, Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, Wingman. The flow is: play official modes, earn XP and level up your profile - each level-up lets you pick a reward. Once the weekly limit is used up, new rewards become available only after the next reset (Wednesday, 01:00 UTC). Community servers from our monitoring (surf, zombie, retake, public) do not count toward the weekly drop - they're about fun and variety, not rewards.

How many items do you get per week?+
It depends on how many profile levels you managed to gain during the week from XP. The more you play before the reset, the more reward picks you receive.
Does the reset time change?+
No, the reset is fixed to Steam's weekly cycle - Wednesday, 01:00 UTC. The Moscow equivalent (04:00) doesn't shift because Russia has no daylight saving time.
