This Policy describes what data the MonitoringCS2 service (hereinafter the "Service", "we") collects when you use the monitoringcs2.com website, and how we process, store and protect it. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. General provisions
The Policy applies to all information that the Service may obtain about a user while they use the website. The Service does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites that the user may visit through links.
2. What data we collect
- Registration data: email address and password (stored only as an irreversible hash).
- Steam data when signing in via Steam: SteamID identifier, public nickname and avatar.
- Profile: display name, internal MC currency balance, promotion purchase history.
- User content: added servers, reviews, descriptions, uploaded advertising banners.
- Technical data: IP address, including for counting traffic and protecting against abuse; a cookie with an authorization token.
- Support requests: the text of your messages in the ticket system.
3. Purposes of data processing
- Registration, authentication and providing access to the Service's features.
- Confirming the email address and recovering access.
- Displaying the profile, favorites, added servers and operation history.
- Protection against bots, spam and manipulation (including via reCAPTCHA).
- Collecting anonymized traffic statistics to improve the Service.
- Handling support requests.
4. Legal basis and consent
Data is processed on the basis of the user's consent, which they give by registering and using the Service, as well as to perform the agreement between the user and the Service. Providing data is voluntary.
5. Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies to store the authorization token and maintain the session. The account area cannot work without them. Analytics data is collected in an anonymized form.
6. Transfer of data to third parties
To operate the Service, data may be transferred to the following services:
- Valve Corporation (Steam) - when authorizing via Steam OpenID.
- Google reCAPTCHA - to protect forms from automated registrations.
- Resend - to deliver registration confirmation emails.
- IP-based geolocation services - to display the country of a game server.
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
7. Retention periods
Data is stored for the entire lifetime of the account. After an account is deleted, the personal data associated with it is deleted or anonymized, except where its retention is required by law.
8. Data protection
We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data: passwords are stored as a hash, the connection is secured with encryption (HTTPS), and access to data is restricted.
9. User rights
- Receive information about the processed data.
- Request correction of inaccurate data through profile settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent to processing by ceasing to use the Service.
10. Changes to the policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update indicated. By continuing to use the Service, you accept the changes.
