Team Falcons Wins IEM Cologne 2026 Major
What changed
Taking on the toughest Playoff bracket in Major history, the Falcons made a triumphant statement at the IEM Cologne 2026 Major.
Facing the defending Major Champions in the Quarterfinals, Falcons defeated Vitality 2-1, with each map taking 24 rounds to determine a winner. The Semifinals weren't any easier, where the Falcons met Team Spirit in a best of three that saw two maps go to Overtime. In the end, the Falcons outlasted Team Spirit 16:12 on Dust II, taking the series 2-1 and booking their first appearance in the Grand Finals.
In the Grand Finals the Falcons left no doubt, defeating FURIA 3-0 to claim the organization's first Major Championship.
To celebrate the closing of the Cologne Major, new items are available in the Major Shop: the IEM Cologne 2026 Champions Autograph stickers (featuring Paper, Holo, Foil, and Gold autographs from Falcons players), and IEM Cologne 2026 Highlight Charms (featuring 10 highlights for each of the six stages of the Cologne 2026 Major, and the Falcons' trophy-lifting moment.)

Team Falcons claimed their first-ever Major championship at IEM Cologne 2026 with an impressive tournament run. The team defeated defending champions Vitality 2-1 in the Quarterfinals, survived a tense Semifinal against Team Spirit featuring two Overtime maps to win 2-1, and then swept FURIA 3-0 in the Grand Finals. This victory demonstrates the rising competitive standards in professional CS2.
For the community, the Major Shop now offers new collectible items to commemorate Falcons' triumph: Champions Autograph stickers featuring players' signatures in four finish types (regular, Holo, Foil, and Gold), and Highlight Charms containing ten pivotal moments from each of the six tournament stages plus the trophy-lifting celebration. These items allow fans to support the champions and preserve memories of this historic Major.
