What it means for players and servers
The update focuses on fixing Cache geometry and general game mechanics. Various map holes have been patched, grenade clipping simplified, and sounds and surface types corrected. Player model rendering has been improved, including proper viewmodel FOV synchronization between clients. New NIGHTMODE II Music Kits are now available in standard and StatTrak versions.
For community server owners, these changes require minimal action-most fixes concern client-server synchronization and visual content. Patching holes on Cache improves map competitiveness and may affect strategies on private servers.
Deathmatch and Arms Race modes received adjustments to weapon score values and XP limits, requiring players to reassess progression. The nighttime version of Ancient now correctly loads map guides. Ragdoll physics and landing transition smoothness improvements enhance overall gameplay feel.
